TERMS
We consider our prices to be competitive with anyone. Don’t be fooled by misleading claims. You can be sure that you will pay for free shipping or free anything with hidden costs. We prefer to tell our customers what everything costs from the beginning of the sale.
We might have to change our prices from time to time throughout the year, as our suppliers raise their prices. We will be happy to quote current prices over the phone. Payment for parts and shipping can be made several different ways. For C.O.D., U.P.S. now requires that you have only a money order at the time of delivery. Sorry, no personal checks are accepted. We also accept MasterCard, Discover and Visa cards at the time of the order.
BACK ORDERS
We frequently have certain items on back order from our supplier. You must tell the person taking your order whether or not you want your order delayed if an item you selected is back ordered. We generally hold orders that have major items missing. But orders with just a few items missing are usually shipped.
It will be up to you to reorder back ordered items missing from your shipment. We will not notify you prior to shipping of any back ordered items.
When calling the following day to find out about your back orders or parts and shipping please do not call before 5 p.m. (CST).
SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY
All orders will be shipped via U.P.S unless the order is too large. If the order is too large we will ship by way of a carrier of our choice. At the customer’s request, we can ship by way of the U.S. Mail. However, we strongly discourage this practice since it takes several days to track a lost parcel. All orders are shipped within 24 hours of delivery to A.I.M.S. Shipping charges are calculated by weight, plus a $3.00 handling fee per order. There is an additional charge of $6.00 for C.O.D. orders.
FIRST, SECOND, AND THIRD DAY ORDERS
These prices cannot be determined at the time the order is made, shipping costs are determined by U.P.S. according to the dimensional weight of the package, total weight and destination.
DAMAGED MERCHANDISE
Ownership of parts is passed on through U.P.S. to our customers at the arrival of the shipment. Our carriers take on the responsibility for damaged or missing parts. Make all claims to the U.P.S. immediately. Contact your local U.P.S. office to find out how to file a claim. If you are still unable to get satisfaction, call A.I.M.S. and we will research the problem.
Please have the following ready:
- Invoice number
- Date of your order
- The delivery date
- If you used a carrier other than U.P.S., you must contact that company personally.
WARRANTIES
All new items sold by A.I.M.S. are guaranteed by the manufacturer of the product according to their terms of warranty. Claim consideration will be made in a quick and just fashion by the manufacturer.
A.I.M.S. is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages caused by, or in connection with, the installation or use of A.I.M.S. parts.
The parts manufacturer is responsible for any damages to persons or property caused by design, manufacturing, testing, or use of their products. Thus, we do not accept any liabilities for such damages.
RETURNS
Our return policy is as follows:
- All returns must be authorized
- Returned items must be prepaid. No C.O.D.s
- An item must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date with a copy of the invoice.
- An item must be in new condition in the original package.
- A restocking fee of 10% of the retail cost applies.
- We will give full credit on items we believe to have been errors on our part.
- We will not accept any return on electrical parts that have been installed.
- You will receive credit on the item returned only if we are unable to repair or replace it.
- Credit for returned items will apply to your next order. There will be no cash refunds.
